First Impressions: God of War Ascension

This game is so visually stunning that I consider it the Avatar of video games. But like Avatar this installment in the God of War series is missing a really good story. I've played the game for a while now and there is really not much to the story. I can't even remember who the first boss was or had I defeated them. The monsters are better, they upgraded. I think the dragons are very annoying though and quite easy to beat.
Some of the bosses are easy too, to the point it's not that fun. The longer I played the game the more I felt let down. At this point, I think I will just play to earn some trophies unless they add some really good cut scenes.

I do like the detail that has been added and how everything looks but it feels like they designed a lot more stuff to keep you busy. Some of the traps, quests, or whatever they are called seem to have been designed to just be time wasters. There is not much to them and I actually got a tad bit angry so I decided to stop playing the game for now. I might try to play it tomorrow or something.

Initial rating: 7/10
