Former Nintendo Gamer turning back into one?

Hello, everyone! David here to talk about an important subject which is..Nintendo!

Like most gamers my age, I started playing on the NES (Super Nintendo). Then went to the Nintendo 64, I was the king of Dong Kong Country! Well maybe a prince but still I was good at the game. I really enjoyed those two systems, I still have them to this day. They are in my closet and still work I try to take care of them the best I can.

I also had the Gameboy which evolved to become Gameboy Color. My first game was Pokemon Red, I played that game so much I pretty much captured them all like the song told me to. I usually chose Charmander because I loved fire. No not arson just fire..Anyway, the Gameboy Advance came next. I actually didn't buy a Gameboy SP, though I did play one. I fell in love with a game series called Harvest Moon, which is a farming simulation game but its so much more than that. But that's a topic for another day.

I grew out of the handheld gaming craze even though I did buy two PSPs much later. I also ventured into playing the Gamecube. Which I totally loved because it was amazing, the control was a fit for my big hands and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life a game I played soooo much. I really plan to buy another Gamecube one of these days. When the Wii came out I decided to stop playing Nintendo, I lost my Gamecube because of a stupid mistake. So all I was left with was a PS2, so on that day I became a Sony gamer basically. Now its been a long time since I bought anything Nintendo related.

I consider myself a hardcore gamer, so the Wii really doesn't fit into that realm. So I went for the PS3 instead but recently I have started thinking about buying the Wii as I am very dissatisfied with Sony and Microsoft plus the whole state of games. I actually don't think I will buy a PS4 or Xbox due to many factors that I will talk about in a  future post. Mainly due to them not really caring about the customers and really selling things that they control that doesn't cost them a single dime. So my opinion of the Wii not being for hardcore gamers has changed after during more research about the games that the console offers.

I love the Wii, its actually quite fun. I am a good player of the dancing related games (don't judge). I've also heard they started to sell controllers for the Wii, so I really might look into it. With the WiiU out, I'm sure the Wii will be really cheap now. I really haven't heard a whole lot of negative things said about current Nintendo Games. Which is a big plus but I will research games that I would want if I did decide to buy the Wii. I've been told that the Xenoblades series is a great one to get into, plus many other series that are amazing. So I am really leaning towards buying the system.

So I just looked up what a pre-owned Wii would cost at Gamestop. Currently, it's only 55 dollars which is a steal. So I actually just decided to buy one once I get some money.

Here is a  short list of games that I would want to buy:

Xenoblade Chronicles
New Super Mario Bros
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Muramasa: The demon Blade
Rune Factory: Frontier
Tales of Symphonia
Phantom Brave: Till we Meet Again
Arc Rise Fantasia
Final Fantasy Fables
The Last Story
Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny
Monster Lab
Baroque
The Little King's Story
Opoona
Shiren the Wanderer
