So some might know that I am a member of the Gallian Liberation Front, which main mission is to get SEGA to release Valkyria Chronicles 3 in America. As only the first two games are available, the first being on the PS3 and the second on the PSP. Due to poor sales of the second game, they decided to not release it in the US.
What SEGA didn't take account for is the fact that console gaming is popular here rather than mobile gaming. More people had PS3s than PSPs, so it was kind of stupid for them to release the game on a mobile gaming system. The original Valkyria Chronicles has been acknowledged as being one of the best PS3 RPG games of all time.
Now SEGA has the brilliant idea to release a spin-off game, entitled Valkyria: Azure Revolution. The synopsis for the game sounds so similar to the first Valkyria Chronicles but I am not going to rush to any judgements at the moment. The game will be a PS4 exclusive and will be released sometime this year.
I really hope it will be something good but at this point it has to be something freaking amazing for me to buy a PS4 to play it.
