3. Dreamcast was loved
Basically, this system was gone way too soon. A lot of people agree that the games featured on this system were some of the best ones that were around at that time. The downfall of the system was all the hype/interest of the PS2. After Dreamcast was pulled, Sega fell from the map basically for many years but they are not as popular or as famous when they were still making consoles.
2. Problems with Microsoft and Sony (and Nintendo)
In America, we only have 4 options for game consoles which are total bull. Each one has problems, as I stated in my previous list. There are so many problems with the Xbox One and PS4 in general that there is a huge market for something different. Sure Nintendo is still here but they are rocking the Wii still. So I am not too concerned about that, anyway with all the problems that Sony and Microsoft have the gaming world is really itching for a new console. Who better to do it than Sega? The creators of some of the best consoles ever
1. Profit
Sega can make some big cash, much more than they are now if only they started to develop another console. There are still Sega fans out there that might still play Dreamcast. I know, that my favorite PS3 game of all time was made by Sega. So I mean there is a huge profit potential for Sega if they ever decide to reclaim their former glory.
